Acceptable Use Policy

The rules that keep VETEK secure, reliable, and fair for every clinic.

Effective Date: August 5, 2026

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the rules for using the VETEK platform operated by KHAN Solutions. It applies to all users of the Service, including clinic administrators, veterinarians, support staff, and any other authorized account holders. By using the Service you agree to comply with this AUP, the Terms of Service, and all applicable laws.

2. Prohibited Uses

You must not use the Service to: (a) engage in or promote any unlawful activity, including violations of veterinary, health, medical records, or privacy laws; (b) send, store, or transmit spam, unsolicited commercial communications, or fraudulent content; (c) upload or distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful code; (d) scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service through automated means, including bots, scrapers, or bulk data harvesting, without our prior written permission; (e) attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other organizations' data, or the platform's infrastructure, including through password guessing, credential reuse, or exploitation of vulnerabilities; (f) interfere with, disrupt, overload, or degrade the Service or its real-time communication infrastructure; (g) resell, sublicense, or otherwise provide access to the Service to third parties other than the clinic's own authorized staff; (h) store or transmit content that infringes intellectual property rights, or that is defamatory, harassing, discriminatory, or obscene; (i) use the Service in a way that causes harm to other tenants or to the integrity of the platform; or (j) benchmark, reverse engineer, or disassemble the Service without our prior written consent, except as permitted by applicable law.

3. Data Protection Responsibilities

Users who enter personal data — including client, patient, and clinical data — into the Service act under the authority of their organization, which is the data controller for that data. Each organization must ensure it has lawful grounds to collect and process such data and must comply with all applicable data protection laws. You must not enter data into the Service that you are not authorized to possess or process, and you must not use the Service to circumvent any person's privacy rights.

4. Monitoring and Enforcement

KHAN Solutions may investigate suspected violations of this AUP, including by reviewing activity logs, and may take any action it deems appropriate, including: issuing warnings, requiring corrective action, temporarily suspending access while an investigation is pending, or terminating the account of users or organizations that commit serious or repeated violations. We may also report unlawful activity to relevant authorities and cooperate with law enforcement, including by providing information permitted or required by law.

5. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of a violation of this AUP — including unauthorized access attempts, abusive content, or abuse of the Service by another user — please report it to abuse@khan-solutions.com. Reports should include, where available: the date and time of the incident, a description of the activity, and any account, URL, or data identifiers involved. We will acknowledge receipt and handle reports confidentially to the extent permitted by law.

6. Consequences

Violation of this AUP may result in suspension or termination of access and may also give rise to civil or criminal liability. Suspension or termination for AUP violations does not affect our rights under the Terms of Service, including the right to seek damages for harm caused by prohibited use.
